Meet Alexa
Licensed Professional Counselor, MA, LPC (she/they)
When we experience hardship without community support, we learn to defend against emotions that would be simply too much to hold alone. My clients typically come to therapy when their defenses hold them back from loving relationships or a fulfilling life. As a counselor, I work with the nervous system and show up as my real, genuine self. I am a white, chronically ill, pansexual genderqueer woman. I honor therapy as a space where all of our identities are important.
Together, we can start to place trust in your emotions as powerful guides towards healing. We can find new ways of coping that enhance your wellbeing and create agency in spaces of oppression. I draw from attachment and somatic approaches and enjoy working with creativity in Narrative, Feminist, Internal Family Systems and Relational-Cultural interventions.
If you are reading this message, I imagine you are likely in a space of becoming someone new through all the difficulties you are experiencing. That is challenging to take on alone. I hope you find the collaborative space that you are seeking in therapy and in community. I encourage you to reach out if you feel we might be a good fit or if you have any questions.
All of your identities are invited to take up space here.

Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy
I offer psychedelic-assisted therapy with ketamine and cannabis to facilitate trauma resourcing, reprocessing, and healing. Psychedelics are a potent tool to increase neuroplasticity and enhance integration of the parts of us that become fragmented as a result of traumatic experiences.
“I am an act of kneading, of uniting and joining that not only has produced both a creature of darkness and a creature of light, but also a creature that questions the definitions of light and dark and gives them new meanings.”
-Gloria Anzaldúa
